Kevin Durkin
Kevin Durkin is Editor of First Language. He completed a PhD in developmental psycholinguistics at the University of Cambridge, and taught at the University of Kent at Canterbury and the University of Western Australia before taking up his present position as Professor of Psychology at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
His research interests are in social and communicative development, including children's understanding of language in television, and language in developmental disorders.
